NITROUS OXIDE (LAUGHING GAS)
Nitrous oxide is an inhalable gas that provides mild sedation and pain relief. Patients who use laughing gas during dental treatment often report a deep sense of relaxation and comfort.
ORAL CONSCIOUS SEDATION
For patients with elevated levels of dental fear or anxiety, we may recommend oral conscious sedation (OCS). With OCS, a pill is taken an hour before your appointment, making you feel very relaxed and somewhat sleepy.
